To Whom It May Concern:

My objective is to obtain a position that will allow me to gain more education in the non-destructive inspection industry and to gain the certifications that are needed to pursue a career in this industry. That being said I do need to state that I have over ten years of welding experience with a couple of welding certifications and practical knowledge in the fabrication and welding field along with an A/A degree in welding and manufacturing, yet lack the skills in the codes and have no certifications with ICC, AWS, or another company in the inspection field.

So what does this all mean? I am looking for an opportunity to advance and gain the knowledge in the NDT industry and make a career of it. I am looking for a long-term placement with a firm that will allow me to use the knowledge I have now and help me further my education in this field along with allowing me to come in with an entry-level position. Also I will also state that I am willing to travel and I am single and have to children to hold me back in the need of short notice and also that under the right circumstances I would be willing to relocate.

I do think that I would be a great fit in the NDT industry because of my attention to detail and knowledge in the welding industry along with an attitude that is not overwhelming, non-intrusive yet also not willing to allow for sub-standard work.
