Career Summary
May 2011 to Present Aker Solutions/Umbilicals
Quality Specialist- With the Umbilicals group my primary responsibity is Quality Surveillance. This includes Vendor Source Inspections and Incoming Material Inspections. The importance of these processes is to ensure that the vendor understands and meets our specifications. While I am still responsible for Quality Surveillance, I also help out with the daily NDE operations and mechanical inspections. I have been given a new responsibility as of late which is being designated QC for Termination and FAT. With this responsibility I am required to ensure that Non Corformances and Lessons Learned are documented.

Quality Specialist/Assistant QC Supervisor- At Aker Drilling Risers my primary responsibility was coordinating the daily NDE and weld inspections. Not 3 months after starting I was promoted to Assistant QC Supervisor and became responsible for the daily operations of the contract QC Inspectors. I approved invoices for 3rd party NDE companies as well as approved time sheets for the contract inspectors.
