a. WESTERN INDIA SHIPYARD LIMITED (WISL)

 Took part in the erection, alignment, testing and commissioning of various machineries, Main Engine, Diesel generators, compressors and various types of pumps, Propeller fit up and shafting etc.
 Attended the repair, maintenance and post repair trials of various machineries /equipment’s of different types of large and small vessels includes oil tankers, supply vessels, Barges.

b. GOA SHIPYARD LIMITED (GSL)

 Follow up of block, tank fabrication, and inspection from fit up stage to dry survey.
 Maintained inspection records, quality related updated documents, as per relevant codes, standards, specification etc. as per Quality assurance plan.
 Received training in basic workshop practices, welding, gas welding and electrical workshop.
 Assisted in Documentation and Presentation of Vessel’s Stage wise Progress from Keel Laying to Launching.

c. MORMUGOA PORT TRUST (MPT)

 Assisted Cargo Engineers during Loading & Unloading operations of Cargo.
 Assisted during maintenance of loading arms, overhaul & operational testing.
 Assisted the chief engineer during routine maintenance of main and the Auxiliary Engine Room Machinery.

Role & Responsibilities

 Carried out Daily and routine operations and maintenance of various machineries on board CHEMICAL TANKER through a 9 months sail.
 Carried out Hull and Tank inspections during Drydocking of the ship and Maintained Records & Documents of the ship.
 Assisted Chief engineer during Annual drydocking /Special survey and carried out inspections, & acted as owners Representative during Drydocking as follows.
a. Ensured that the construction and testing activities comply with the Contractual Specifications and technical requirements of the ship repair specification.
b. Review of material Certificates and weld & NDT Traceability as per Project Standards and Specifications.
c. Monitoring and witnessing of the procedure qualification and welder qualifications as per approved procedure specifications.
d. Perform inspections (As per approved ITP) and monitor construction/testing activities during Drydock repairs and annual survey.
e. Review and endorse the QC records , report of Inspection on Welds, in structural, piping & Documentation as per approved procedure specifications
f. Visual and dimensional Inspection of the Repair jobs as per drawing and review of Dim. Report for compliance of the accuracy limit.
g. Inspection with classification Surveyor & Assistance During survey.
h. Review and Witness of the Hydro test packs for Deck cargo lines , Vaccum test, pneumatic test, Bore scope inspections .
i. Review painting Inspection specification, weather report & painting inspections reports.
j. Working experience and knowledge in International codes and various standards Participate to the final inspections and raise punch list items and Close out the punch list items after work completion.
k. Verify the “As built” documents.
 Co-ordinated with Chief-Officers to carry out Drills on board Ship.
 Experience includes engine room watch keeping, and maintenance & Over haul of main engine(MAN B&W 8561KW),Diesel Generators (MAN B&W 785KW) & Boilers (AALBORG WATER TUBE TYPE)
