Nondestructive Inspection Technician
Texas Air National Guard, Lackland Air Force Base, TX 02/2012 - Present

• Perform nondestructive inspection on F-16’s and associated equipment to ensure the structural integrity of the aircraft and equipment through multiple disciplines to include; x- ray, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, eddy current, and visual inspections
• Maintain all associated test equipment through periodic process control inspections of all lab equipment and document each inspection in the Process control automated management system (PCAMS).
• Analyze engine oil and other associated oils through spectro-analysis and make maintenance recommendations according to tech data.
• Analyze Magnetic chip detectors for Metal debris using the Jet SCAN SEM/EDX system.
• Adhere to strict guidelines in accordance with set standards without deviation as prescribed by the United States Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard.
• Documents all work performed on appropriate forms, AFTO Form 781series, and inputs data into the Integrated Maintenance data system (IMDS).
• Successfully able to determine and perform new inspections and write up the procedure using AF form 22, AF Form 107's, and AFTO form 242's for submittal.
• Performs all duties using the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE).
• Successfully relocated with the 149th Maintenance unit to Luke AFB from March 2016 through May 2016 to support the mission due to runway closer at Lackland AFB.
