Experience
API

• Performed duties as a member, supplementing local Acuren corporate inspection offices using certified NDT Level II in MT, PT, CR/DR/Open Vision/traditional radiography disciplines for defects and localized inspection. These duties involved little notice and extensive travel.
• Performed duties at the South Energy, Inc Vogtle 3 & 4 Nuclear Project in Waynesboro, GA Duties were PT, and VT, and nuclear documentation of all in-bound equipment to be used in the project
• Performed duties as NDT Technician at Dynacorp, Inc, Cheyenne, WY for 4 week maintenance turnaround. This required use of VT, MT and PT both Types 1 & 2.
• Performed duties as NDT Technician for VT, MT and PT both Types 1 & 2, RT using Open Vision, DR/CR and traditional RT to establish or maintain/monitor corrosion control of ammonia piping These duties covered about 12 different plants
• Performed duties for three months on Duke Energy, Inc., Richwood, KY performing RT Inspections of completed pipeline welds. My work was completed when new corporate office assumed control from the Cleveland, OH Acuren Office was assigned other priorities.
• It should be noted to become full Level II for RT, only a Practical Examination is required. Due to work schedule and other commitments this has not been possible up to this date

API

• Reduced costly inspections and wasted manpower hours for customers by conducting experiments using Open Vision system while maximizing inspection capabilities and opening new inspection roles for OV in FRP and PVC piping to reduce RT NDT costs in blockages and faying of non- metallic materials piping.
• Cut normal RT inspection costs and wasted manpower hours by 50% by establishing CR program for weld quality inspections, accepted by Level III and Quality Control engineer personnel with Olin Corporation.
• Lead highly accurate inspections for Dow Chemical and Olin Corporation in Clute, Texas.
• Responsible for maintenance, calibration, set-up and NDT inspection equipment while conducting inspections and generating reports using Microsoft computer applications.
• Key member of RT facet, RT (RAM/CT/DR and X-Ray), managing daily and call-out critical and accurate inspections for weld quality, and profiles of piping, vessels and tanks.

NAVSEA

• Supported U.S. Navy SWRMC by conducting VT and dimensional, PT (Type 1 & 2), MT (wet horizontal bench and dry particle, Type 1 & 2), UTT and LAM, Black Light operations, and hydrotesting inspections.
• Conducted daily quality assurance inspections of metallic and nonmetallic materials, ensuring positive material identification aboard U.S. Navy vessels and onshore locations at the U.S. Navy installation.
• Served active and integral NDT role in qualifying subcontracted and U.S. Navy welders.
• Trained in all facets of Navy Air Command (NAVAIR), MIL STDS, and Navy Sea Command (NAVSEA) inspection and quality assurance processes, procedures and guidelines.

AEROSPACE:

• Performed a variety of NDT inspections for FAA Repair Station in Oklahoma, including VT, PT (Type 1), MT (Type 1, Wet Horizontal Bench, TAM and Dupont Paint Panels, light and UV Black Light, Brinnel & Rockwell Hardness, ET (conductivity testing) of initial material supplies and finished fabricated components.
• Conducted quality assurance inspections, ensuring positive material identification, interpreting scientific/chemical analysis reports, and final end products of the corporation.
• Maintained and performed chemical processes used by company to the VP and Lead Process Engineer, including acid etching, anodizing, monitoring control limits, and making corrections in chemicals as needed, and documenting on scientific control charts.
• Performed additional duties as Pyrometric technician, ensuring maintenance of quality standards in all facets of heat-treating operations for the corporation.
• Performed root cause analysis for 3 separate NADCAP audits for NDT processes and procedures, Root Cause Analysis’s resulting in the corporation maintaining its certifications.
