CAREER EXPERIENCE

9/03 – 11/03 NDT INSPECTOR
PRATT & WHITNEY SPACE PROPULSION, San Jose, California
· Radiographic support on solid fuel rocket motors and assemblies used on Minuteman, THAAD, MK-72, and BSM programs.
· Process included the use of an L2000 high-energy and 320 KV low energy X-ray equipment. Inspection of rocket motor components, test and assembly operations, per the required drawings and specification requirements.
· Slated for Level II certification in RT, MT, and PT inspection methods.


3/01 – 8/03 QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR
THE NAUTILUS GROUP INC., Las Vegas, Nevada
· Performed quality inspection and assembly of fitness and exercise equipment to assure proper fit-up, mechanical operation acceptability, or any apparent discrepancies.
· Position required visual and dimensional inspection by use of calipers micrometers, protractors, height gauges, and surface plates for drawings and specification requirements. Distribute results to management with implementation for any corrective or MRB action.
· Receiving inspection for quality sample audits of container shipments for acceptable conditions and any apparent damage or discrepancy.

· Directly supervised QA Technicians performing in-process inspection of various size tubing for pressure vessel chambers/canisters with weld preparation ends, for air bag deployment in the automotive industry.
· Coordinated training in inspection techniques and conducted quality audits of production product. Verified equipment set-ups by use of calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, gauges, and S-T 3500 Optical Comparator for tolerance requirements.

· Inspection of Solid Rocket Motor components, test and assembly operations, per the required drawings and specification requirements. Verified torquing and precision measuring instrument operations in accordance with procedure requirements.
· Performed various work assignments on Launch Pad, supporting stacking and launch operations as Inspector and Launch Mechanic for installation of flight hardware.
