I am looking for sound methods and procedures for using Thermography for NDI application on composite materials. The materials consist of various carbon compounds (Kevlar) and fillers either in a layered configuration or with metalic honeycomb sandwiched in between 2 layers of composite. The total thickness can vary from 1/8 inch to 3 inches. Thanks Gene

I know that the Canadian Armed Forces in Trenton Ontario have developed technics to this inspection. Contact Bill Gosse at the Non-Destructive Testing facility there.
