Dear sir... My name is Nabil Merhi, a Master student in Blekinge Institute of Technology(Department of Mechanical Engineering) in Sweden. I am working with my Examination Thesis work. This work has the title “Investigation of methods to find cracks in layered material”. The thin(1mm) laminated composites used for packaging material may consist of cardboard, aluminium foil and plastics. I am asking you if you can help me to find a suitable method(s) to detect cracks in this layered material. The methods will include acoustic emission, linear ultrasound, non-linear ultrasound, x-ray or any others. I would like to know any ideas or information about this subject. My best regards Nabil Merhi
