Following the decision made at the last conference in Osaka, the traditional schedule for the geographic location of the conferences has been reverted to allow joining the 7th World Conference to the final Meeting of the European COST Action 524 on Neutron Imaging Techniques for the Detection of Defects in Materials.

In this event, the traditional World Conference approach will allow technicians and scientists worldwide to present and discuss their latest achievements; in addition the participants to the COST Action 524, lasting since March 1998, will highlight the added value given to their scientific work by this cooperation framework supported by the European Commission, General Direction Research.

The session topics are aimed at promoting the widest discussion of latest technical and scientific achievements as well as introducing applications.

The focus is not limited to traditional neutron imaging techniques. Contributions concerning the integration with other NDT techniques as well as the application of neutron diffraction techniques are welcome.
