The L-3 Communications Joint Operations Group headquarters is located in Lexington, KY with operations in other states and overseas. Our primary mission is to provide logistical support to the Special Operations Forces Organizations. Additionally, we perform maintenance repair work and modifications of rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft. L-3 Communications JOG also provides maintenance repair work at all levels up to and including depot level repair of military vehicles. Successful candidates must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS, work varying shifts and must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

L-3 Communications JOG is currently searching for Non-Destructive Inspection Technicians at our Lexington, KY site. The individual candidates for this position must be qualified in the 5-basic methods of Nondestructive testing (NDT) as specified by NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A publications. In addition this candidate must be able to obtain AWS QC-2 Weld Inspection Certification per IO 5051-03 with-in 18 months of employment. (Training will be provided). This candidate should have a strong background in alloyed materials and manufacturing processes. The possession of an FAA Airframe/ Powerplant or AWS QC-1 Weld Inspection / CWI license is a plus. This position will require frequent travel for durations of up to 90-days with 2-weeks to 60 days being the norm. Knowledge of military aircraft and military aircraft systems is a plus.
