Qualcon has an immediate opening for a Supplier Quality Representative to perform source verification of procured materials and equipment to assure conformance with specified requirements.
Personnel residing near Chicago area preferred. Position may require frequent travel within established geographical areas.
Position supports execution of the project Supplier Quality Program. Requires visual inspection, monitoring, witnessing of supplier-performed work while in-progress, review and acceptance of supplier-generated quality verification documentation and routine reporting of source verification results.
Provide a professional appearence as a Client Representative at supplier facilities

Skills:
Education and experience sufficient to meet Level II certification in the requested discipline as defined by ASME NQA-1-1989 Edition, Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities, Appendix 2A-1. Previous employer certification as a Level II/III, in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Capable of reading, with natural or corrected vision, J-1 on the standard Jaeger’s or equivalent type test chart for near vision and distinguishing between primary colors.
Obtain 80% or better on closed-book written examination in the Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Familiarity and working knowledge of industry standard fabrication and/or manufacturing techniques and work processes.
