Qualified candidate will be principally responsible for the Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Inspection of aerospace products in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Duties will also include close tolerance inspection of complex aerospace components using hand inspection tools, optical comparators, surface plate and layout techniques. Experience or training in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning & tolerances, familiarity with ANSI specifications and CMM inspection would be a plus.
Principal Accountabilities
Inspection of components, subassemblies and assemblies for the below listed programs and other activities as may be required or assigned: -
Mark 104, Mod 2 & 3, motorcases
SSST motorcases
Tomahawk canisters
Tomahawk capsules
Mark 72 motorcases
A/D & S/A Switch
Marine pipe applications
Commercial pipe applications
Space Shuttle External Tank components
Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle LOX lines
Nuclear waste sealed cylinder inserts

Qualifications
This job requires a technical Associates degree in applicable technical field or equivalent related experience.
The position prefers a minimum of 7 or more years of work experience specifically related to job requirements.
A Level 2 NDT certification in Magnetic Particle Inspection is needed and ideally a Level 2 or above NDT certification in Penetrant Inspection.
