MACSTEEL Monroe Inc., a subsidiary of Quanex and a Leader in special bar quality steel manufacturing, has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician.

The ideal candidate would be capable or certified in non-destructive testing (ultrasonic) processes related to steel bar manufacturing. Candidate must meet the formal training and work experience requirements of Ultrasonic disciplines. Candidates must be able to read, interpret and understand technical drawings and manuals. Additional strengths and requirements are strong listening skills, self-starter and willing to work as a member of a team on rotating shift assignments. Good communication, written, organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Strong aptitude in math and working knowledge of computers are required.
