Excellent Opportunity!! Position located in Southwestern Iowa. Work Schedule is 7 days/week, 12 hours/day. (Some flexibility in work schedule.) Performs equipment calibrations and conducts tests in accordance with procedures approved by the Level III Technician. Interprets, evaluates and documents test results. Typical Duties: 1. Conducts a variety of tests using established methods. Tasks are performed both in the laboratory and off site. Prepares test specimens, sets up and adjusts test equipment and records test data. 2. Analyzes and interprets test data. 3. Maintain related test equipment, tools, and machinery in good working condition. 4. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Required to routinely lift up to 50 pounds Education and Certifications: Completion of a two-year program of technical trades training in an applicable subject and/or previous Qualification or Certification in at least one NDT method. Experience Two to four years of applicable experience. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to organize and document NDI or NDT results. Familiar with testing codes and standards.
