Major Connecticut based corporation is going to double their sales in the next 4 years They have developed new product offerings, selling very well in the market place.

We are searching for a GENERAL MANAGER to oversee their high volume machining facilities. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, planning, financial, operations, systems, manufacturing, machining and sales experience. Candidates with multi-plant management experience are strongly preferred. This position will manage sales, materials, purchasing, engineering and production. Past experience in a sales or sales management function is a plus. Knowledge of production machining is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of executive management, four years technical degree and excellent people skills. This is a very team orientated company that takes care of their valued employees.

The General Manager will indirectly manage 150 employees at two locations. Experience with P&L, budgeting, lean manufacturing, ERP systems, capital improvements and proven results improving throughput is required.

Our client just invested in many new machine tools and capital improvements. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a longer term growth orientated position.

MUST HAVE: 10 years as an executive manger with full P&L, budgeting, operations, strategic planning, sales, high volume machining and strong leadership skills. Candidates will require a four year degree. An MBA is a plus. Our client will look for candidates with a solid long term work history.
