Aerotek Engineering is currently seeking a experienced NDE level II technician for their Hampton, Virginia client.
Qualified candidate must a minimum of 8 years experience in NDE testing, within the Aerospace industry. Candidate should have specific RT testing experience examining film interpretations. Candidate MUST have extensive experience performing film reading of complex castings. CWI not required but definitely preferred.
Main responsibilities will including performing RT testing and examining film interpretations on casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft engines and airframes as well as industrial gas turbine (IGT) engine components.
Position is on a 6 months to perm hiring basis. Client is looking to pay between $30 - $40/hour, time and a half for overtime along with per diem.
