Job Description: ARINC, Oklahoma City is looking for someone to join our team to provide project engineering and material analysis support. Candidate will work on a broad variety of project tasks providing engineering and material analysis services as required. The types of projects may include; analysis of mechanical components and aircraft structures and the design and development of aircraft and engine maintenance support equipment and fixtures. Typical project tasks include; working with customers to define project technical requirements, development of test plans, performing testing in accordance with test plans, drafting test reports, developing presentations and briefing test results, designing hardware items, participating in design reviews, drafting statements of work, monitoring subcontractor performance, monitoring project financial status, and drafting status reports.
Skills:
Required Experience: 8 years of progressively more responsible engineering experience performing material analysis and testing. Experience must be related to aircraft structural materials or jet engine materials. Experience writing laboratory test plans and test reports. Experience operating in a certified laboratory environment; ISO, A2LA, NVLAP, etc. Strong writing and verbal presentation skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Desired Experience: Experience with material first article testing, failure analysis, and reliability analysis. Experience with reverse engineering or re-engineering of mechanical components. ASNT Level II or III NDI certification in ET, UT, RT, DP, MP. Experience with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software. Experience with Microsoft Project. Experience with Government proposal development.

Education/Certification Requirements: BS Engineering (prefer metallurgical engineering or materials science.)
