Large OEM with a growing product line is searching for a SUPERVISOR to manage a high volume machining department. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and direct skilled machinists. Past experience working on continuous improvements, cost savings and major projects. This position will schedule, troubleshoot, train and solve machining issues on the shop floor. Candidates with formal management training is preferred. Knowledge of cutting tools, cycletimes and production machining equipment is also a must. This position will manage production, machine efficiencies, up-time, set ups, quality and on time delivery. Interested candidates will need past experience managing 20 – 35 employees in a production environment.
