INSPECTOR I

The Las Vegas Valley Water District’s Engineering, Major Construction, and
Development Inspection Divisions are seeking skilled Inspectors for the
District’s construction projects and new water facilities constructed and
provided by developers and contractors.

Salary: $21.39 per hr, plus an excellent benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge, skill, and ability to work
independently, organize assignments, read and interpret water facility
construction plans and be skilled in the use of computers. Requires graduation
from high school or GED; and four years of experience in public works
construction, including two years as a project inspector in the waterworks
industry; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
