Aerojet is an innovative contractor specializing in missile and space propulsion, and defense and armaments. We seek a Sr. Quality Engineer and a Quality Engineer with NDT experience who will be responsible for NDT methods including procedures, training and certifying NDT personnel. Reviews, develops, and implements process improvements. Provides expertise and analysis to a wide range of technical problems. Develops NDT/NDE methods to meet new or unusual requirements.

Requires BS degree and 2 - 5 years of directly related technical experience in an aerospace environment. Level III Certification in accordance with the requirements of NAS410 in RT or UT and two or more of the following PT, MT, ET and LT. Must be qualified and able to pass Level III examinations specific to Aerojet. Must be able to provide quality assurance and problem solving abilities while performing a variety of NDT Level III and quality engineering tasks with little or no supervision on composite materials, welds/metallic structures, and solid fuel propulsion systems. Some projects may require the ability to hold a security clearance. Shift work may also be required.
