Looking for Level II UT (shear wave) and MT with minimum 5 years experience in welding inspection or welding QA/QC. Prefer AWS-CWI with experience in structural steel inspection of buildings and bridges. Position is full time with benefits including 401(k) retirement plan after 90 days from hire. Travel is mostly local. Duties include visual and non-destructive testing of shop and field welds, review and verify welder qualifications and welding procedure specs. Will verify welding, bolting, and connection details in conformance with plans, specs and preparation of daily reports. Candidates must be professional, ethical, self-starter and be able to work safely from elevated surfaces and ladders. Must also have valid drivers license with good driving record.
