A premier southern company is expanding their operations due to increased sales. Our client specializes in the machining of highly engineered components.

We are searching for a strong candidate with solid machining and leadership skills. This supervisor will manage their high volume machining area. Past experience in a production screw machine environment is a requirement. Candidates must have past experience managing group of machinists, motivating employees, prioritizing tasks, following up to ensure hot jobs are meeting production goals and solving machining issues. Interested candidates should have experience training employees, reviewing employee performance, implementing production goals and provide all necessary work instructions to complete production goals. Continuing education in management and employee motivation is a huge plus. This position will manage 25-35 employees in a modern shop with excellent lighting, work stations and machining equipment. They have a team orientated work force and many long term employees. This is the type of company that employees enjoy. Relocation assistance will also be offered.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of experience supervising and motivating highly skilled machinists in a production machining environment. Past experience in a multi spindle screw machine facility is also required. Direct experience on Acme Screw Machines is a huge plus.
