Our client is in need of one (1) Valve Repair Technician for their Memphis location. Job duties would entail Repairing, repacking, reconditioning, or modifying any size, type or process valve in-line.
Some of the essential job duties will include:
Performing field work and must be proficient performance of all valve repair procedures.
Must understand ASME code and test to API 598 and 6D standards.
Be aware of all Company products and services that are available to our customers.
Abides by all Company safety policies (Job Safety Analysis, Critical Job Reviews, safety observations etc.) and procedures and conducts weekly safety meetings with work crew

Skills:
College or Vocation Training with emphasis in a technical field.
Recent Military experience with mechanical, instrument, electrical or computer application training and experience or one (1) or more years experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
Smith Driving Certification or completion within 30 days of accepting job.
HAZWOPPER training certificate.
Approved State Safety Council Training Certificate
Nuclear plant experience would be a plus.
Recent Military experience with mechanical, instrument, electrical or computer application training and experience or one (1) or more years experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
Smith Driving Certification or completion within 30 days of accepting job.
