Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintain and monitor implementation of inspection and test plans (ITP) as required by Corporate QA/QC.
- Coordinate and maintain inspection/surveillance schedules. < li>
- Monitor work performed by inspectors for Projects.
- Interface with Vendors and Project Management Teams to determine inspection dates and frequency.
- Perform basic safety review of shops.
- Assist in review of Vendor and Subcontractor Quality Plans.
- Perform basic expediting activities at fabrication shops/vendor supply locations as needed.
- Schedule inspections, meetings, etc. Must be self-starter and be able to perform with little supervision.

- Develop interface programming for Quest (Access) program and ITP scheduling.
- Further develop and maintain Quality Control Portal on BV Intranet.

- 2 year degree preferred.
- Working familiarity with standard QA/QC procedures, ASTM Standards, Contract Specifications, Welding Codes (ASME, AWS, API, AWWA), and Industrial Coatings, General / ASME Standards.
- Management/supervisory experience.
- Ability to assist with or conduct external/internal quality audits.
- Familiarity with basic computer software programs - Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet, Access Software.
- Experience in setting up meeting agenda(s) based on comprehension of specifications, contracts and direction from Project Management or Project Engineering.
- Familiarity with typical fabrication methods and sequencing as well as PWHT methods and practices.
- Familiarity with typical fabrication materials, i.e. carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome and other alloys.
- Familiarity with ISO concepts and have working knowledge of ISO auditing.
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders and perform inspections Pass ASNT Visual.
