Great opportunity with a growing international manufacturer of control system components.

Our client is expanding their world class quality department. We are searching for candidates with a minimum of five years experience as a Quality Engineer in a machined components facility. Candidates with a CQE and four year degree are strongly preferred. Interested candidates must have strong metrology experience working with precision machined components.

This client has a diversified product line serving a number of high tech industries. Past experience in a ISO-9000, TS-16949 and/or AS-9100 certified manufacturing environment is a plus. This position will prepare and document FMEA, first article, PPAP, control plans, process flow diagrams, work instructions and corrective actions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, managers and the machinists on the shop floor is required. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques is also a plus.

Our client has a high volume machining facility with production CNC lathes, swiss type, cnc lathes, automatic screw machines, rotary transfer equipment, deburring equipment and high speed assembly.

Interested candidates must have a solid background measuring machined components.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of quality engineering, strong metrology skills, basic understanding of machined components and experience with ISO9000, TS16949 or AS9100 quality management systems. Candidates with a 4 year degree is preferred.
