Due to the retirement of a valued employee, our client is searching for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Our client is growing by expanding their sales to both foreign and domestic automotive OEM, off road, transportation, ATV’s, snowmobiles and small engine manufacturers. Our client produces power train, steering and gear assemblies.

We are searching for candidates with strong leadership, technical and project management skills. Interested candidates will need 5 years of engineering management and a 4 year technical engineering degree. Knowledge of gear cutting, hobbing, shaping and production machining is a must. We are looking for candidates with current experience manufacturing gears and/or spine rolling. Past experience developing processes, tooling and leading major product launch projects is required. The Engineer Manager will oversee tooling and process engineers. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to see the “big picture” is a must. Experience working directly with customers on launch projects, design of manufacturability ad product development is required. Candidates should have solid experience of APQP and documentation. Capital improvement project experience is a huge plus.
