Hexcel is seeking a NDT Technician in our Kent, WA facility.

Position Responsibilities:
Inspection of composite structures for internal defects per applicable standards, codes and specifications. Occasional interface with customers regarding defects and/or details of tests; stage and prepare parts for test; operate robotic scanning equipment; manually test parts with hand yokes and/or contact probes; perform defect characterization and evaluation; interpret test results; write and enter reports in computer; maintain equipment, clean area; monitor automated ultrasonic systems as directed by senior personnel; cross train in metrology or test lab functions; and ability to train level 1 personnel.
Skills:
Position requirements:
B.S., A.A. degree or equivalent from two/four year college or technical school; or two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; must have experience with UT inspection of composites and be able to certify Level II per NAS410-2 within thirty (30) days of hire. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or government regulations. Effective report writing and presentation skills. Good problem solving skills.
