Growing Southern manufacturer of commercial and aerospace fasteners is searching for a Quality Manager.
Candidates need strong leadership and experience to maintain and improve the Quality Management system, solid documentation skills and past experience preparing FMEA, control plans, work instructions, procedures, first articles and corrective actions. The Quality Manager will work with customers to clarify requirements, critical features and non-conformance issues. Knowledge of ISO-9000, AS-9100 and/or NACAP quality systems is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong metrology skills and a basic understanding of cold heading, metal forming and/or fastener manufacturing process experience. The Quality Manager will play a major role in the product launch process, ensuring the proper documentation and quality procedures are being followed. This position will manage the quality lab and inspectors. Solid problem solving skills, root cause analysis and the ability to resolve non-conformance issues is also required.
