Location: Euclid, Ohio

A division of one of our best clients is continuing to grow. They are going through a major plant expansion due to an acquisition and increased sales. This facility is producing high precision turned components for the automotive, medical and aerospace industries. We are looking for a Quality Engineer who can grow into the plant Quality Manager at their new facility. Candidates should have experience working in a precision machining environment, such as CNC lathes, swiss type CNC lathes or screw machines. Past experience preparing PFMEA, PPAP, gage R&R, control plans, work instructions, procedures and corrective actions is required. This position requires strong metrology skills and the ability to manage inspectors. Experience maintaining and improving the TS-16949 quality management system is also required. Direct experience in a QS-9000 or TS-16949 facility is a must. This position will have some customer contact and play a role on new product launches. Candidates with a CQE, CQM and/or CQI are preferred. Solid problem solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues is also a must.
