Job Description:

Responsibilities

* Execute with limited guidance the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/program requirements.
* Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
* Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments.
* Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
* Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.
* Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
* Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments.
* Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks.
* Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.


Qualifications

* Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in an engineering position).
* At least 5 additional years of experience in an engineering role with a focus on the development of solutions that meet the program requirements.


Desired

* Masters degree in Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years NDE system design/build experience including program management leading and bringing to closure relevant industrial equipment projects.
* Previous experience with project leadership including responsibility for technical content, financial accountability and scheduled deliverables.
* Familiarity with motion control systems and associated technology, computer software and hardware.
* Level II NED certifications in UT, ET, PT, MT.
* Experience with three dimensional analytical model generation, interpretation and interrogation.
