Expanding powertrain supplier is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer due to additional growth in sales.

We are searching for experienced engineers with process experience in high volume production machining. Past experience with some of the following processes is required; gear cutting, gear grinding, hobbing, shaping, multi spindle screw machining, cnc lathes and/or cnc mills. Interested candidates should have a strong background developing cost estimates, processes, tooling packages and have solid experience with speeds and feeds. This position will focus on new product launches and requires solid project management skills. Knowledge of automotive systems and APQP requirements is a huge plus. Interested candidates should have strong computer skills and CAD design experience. Interested candidates will need a technical degree or heavy experience in a gear cutting or multi spindle screw machine environment. Strong problem solving skills with the ability to resolve both tooling and machining issues is a must.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of experience processing and tooling high volume machine tools. Direct experience in either a gear cutting or screw machine environment is required. Strong APQP experience is a huge plus. A 4 year degree is desired, however, we will consider experience.
