Located in North Carolina, a major OEM of fluid controls is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their high volume machining area.

We are searching for Engineers with a 4 year degree and a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in a production machining environment. Interested candidates will need a solid background in cutting tools, feeds, speeds, fixturing and high volume production machining. This position requires processing new components, development of tooling packages, capital equipment projects, implementing Lean techniques, process troubleshooting, process sheets, set up instructions, product launch, as well as, direction Engineering and Production Associates. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will focus on special projects and requires travel to other plants in the division. Knowledge of tool design, fixturing, Autocad and CNC programming is a plus. This bonus has a long history of 10% plus with an average of 15%.

MUST HAVE: a 4 year technical degree, 7 years of experience in high volume machining, cutting tool design, feeds and speeds and machine processing. Interested candidates should have experience on at least 2 of the following processes: CNC turning, CNC milling, threading, multi spindle screw machines, rotary transfer, dial transfer, dial / Index machines, Trunion style transfer machines, automatic bar machines and/or flexible machining units.
