Successful candidate will perform NFPA certification testing on Aerial Devices (including aerial component weldment inspections). Work includes Factory evaluations of fire apparatus by the using NDT testing methods of primarily magnetic particle and visual, including some ultra-sound, and liquid penetrant. Candidate must be willing to travel on occasion and must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Job requires someone who is detail-oriented and can report data accurately and timely.

U.S. AAS in NDT or Equivalent.
Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability. Knowledge of Non-Destructive testing, specifically in the methods of Magnetic Particle Inspection and Visual Inspection. ASNT Level II Certification in MT & VT a plus. Requires good computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Position requires travel.
Previous Field related experience helpful. Basic computer knowledge required which includes Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel and Lotus Notes. Must have a familiarity with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, volt meters, etc.
Candidate must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and technical ability. Knowledge of Non-Destructive testing required.
