Location: Kalamazoo Michigan. International automotive supplier now hiring. While other companies are downsizing, our client is launching new programs. Their key to success is a diversified international customer base serving major foreign and domestic corporations.

We are looking for candidates with a wide range of production machining experience. Interested candidates should have experience in some of the following processes: production cnc turning, cnc machining centers, production cnc grinding, gear cutting, broaching, roll forming, spline rolling, line transfer machining, rotary machines, dial machines, chucking and/or multi spindle screw machines. Strong project management skills and a solid background in high volume machining is a must. Past experience developing cost estimates, processing production equipment, layout tooling, designing tooling / fixturing, calculating cycletimes, purchasing equipment and documenting processes is a must.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to debug machining issues on the shop floor. The focus of this position is new product launches. Candidates with experience documenting PFEMA, PPAP, control plans and work instructions are preferred. We will consider both technical degrees and on the job experience.
