Position Summary

•Perform external and internal visual inspections of fixed equipment
•Execution of inspection programs, such as Ultrapipe, to assess and monitor the mechanical integrity of fixed equipment
•Analyze, interpret, properly document, and communicate the results of inspection data
•Provide inspection input and support to design and project engineering
•Develop turnaround/shutdown work lists for fixed equipment
•Generate job scopes for equipment repairs
•Conduct quality assurance activities on new construction and all repair projects
•Complete Root Cause Failure Analysis for fixed equipment failures, share and apply learnings for sustainable improvement
•Perform RBI assessments to manage risk priorities
•Develop a working understanding of the corrosion mechanism and mitigation options for the plant

Requirments

•Knowledge of American Society of Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) methods such as Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Visual Testing (VT)
•High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in inspection of fixed equipment in the petrochemical industry
