KEMA is seeking non-destructive testing (NDT) technicians to further support KEMA's growth in the area of conventional and automated non-destructive testing services. These positions will be based at our office in Schenectady, New York.

- Perform non-destructive testing field-services in Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particles, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic inspections (Phased Array UT, Time Of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), and conventional)
- Interact with clients on work schedule and scope of work
- Report test results
- Provide specialty NDT services utilizing automated data acquisition systems and scanning fixtures
- Maintain related test equipment, tools, and machinery in good working condition

Skills:
- A minimum of two years experience in the non-destructive testing industry and a two year degree in NDT, or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with power generation and components such as generators, steam turbines, etc.
- Familiarity with automated scanning equipment
- Capable of performing work in power plants including nuclear facilities (for which a background check is necessary)
- Confidence and ability to work independently, be self-motivated, but also be a team-player
- Willingness to travel frequently is essential
- Good analytical skills and problem solving abilities
- Level II or Level III Certification in Magnetic Particles, Liquid Penetrant, Eddy Current and/or Ultrasonic
- Supervisory experience is a plus
