Structural Integrity Associates has an immediate need for an Engineering Manager in Bakersfield, CA.

Basic Function:

Leads, manages, and participates in the PLS business in Bakersfield, CA. Responsible for generating, scheduling, executing, and ensuring quality of Business reports directly to the Group Manager and internally contributes to the operation of the Business Unit.
Skills:
Key Accountabilities:

- Participates with the Business Unit Manager in developing Unit short and long term strategic plans and objectives
- Contributes to group operations including group profit and loss
- Implements and manages group action plans to meet Unit strategic objectives
- Implements strategies, processes, and policies to meet the Unit and Company objectives
- Contributes to budgets in collaboration with the Group Manager for approval by the President and CFO
- Provides team building and technical integration within assigned group and business unit
- Exemplifies the company culture and core values
- Provides development and mentoring of staff to meet expanding business and succession needs
- Exhibits entrepreneurism through the deployment of business strategies including: offerings, technologies, products, resourcing, and pricing
- Responsible for the generation and management of revenue sufficient to support to group profitability
- Ensures the quality of services and products
- Has demonstrated project management skills
- Externally is recognized as an industry leader in at least one technical area and as a key SI contact with industry clients

Qualifications & Experience:

- BS and 5-15 years of related experience
- Willing to reside in the Bakersfield, CA area
