Performing the role of Senior Inspector, you will be responsible to ensure mechanical integrity and maximize the reliability life cycle value of fixed equipment with high regard for safety and the environment all while maintaining constant focus on key profit drivers. Acting on behalf of the fixed equipment group, you will be analyzing inspection data, making risk calls, as well as functioning as the primary liaison between the fixed group and the reliability group for your area of responsibility.

Daily activity will involve such things as analysis of field data and development of formal recommendations, turnaround work scope development, and management of inspection activities during turnaround, maintaining equipment records, managing equipment inspection methods/strategies, leading and assisting in the root cause failure analysis process, responsibility for code and regulatory compliance of your area of responsibility. You will support learning within the organization and across sites by communicating, informing and sharing knowledge with fellow inspectors on decisions, findings, results and learning’s.

Skills:
Work Experience/Skills Required:
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience working as an in-plant inspector for a refinery or chemical facility. You must have certifications in API 510 and API 570. We need your strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Work Experience/Skills Preferred:
The candidate should have a strong background in refinery processes, corrosion analysis, data interpretation, metallurgy, damage mechanisms and welding. We prefer proficiency in MS Office skills, knowledge or UltraPipe and API RBI software. Preferred certifications would be: API 653, passing the NBIC exam and to hold current CWI certification.
