Technician - Successful candidate will perform NFPA certification testing on Fire Truck Aerial Devices and Pumpers (including aerial component weldment inspections). Work includes Factory evaluations of fire apparatus using NDT testing methods including magnetic particle, visual, ultrasound, and liquid penetrant.

Skills:
AAS in Non-Destructive Testing or Equivalent
Candidate will, ideally, be located within 30-mile radius of Greenbay.
AAS in Non-Destructive Testing or Equivalent
ASNT Level II Certification in MT, VT, UT and / or PT a plus.
Candidate with previous certification to CP 189 or SNT-TC-1A in any of the above four methods is a plus.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, must be able to lift at least 70lbs.
Candidate must meet vision requirements as listed in CP 189.
Candidate must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, IBM Laptop Computer, Lotus Notes.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Possess physical abilities and financial capabilities to travel.
Candidate must be willing to travel; local and overnight travel may be required.
Ability to report data in a concise and timely manner.
