Process Engineer – cost estimating, CNC machining center, CNC swiss lathe
Growing division of a corporation focused on highly engineered precision machined components is searching for a Process Engineer. This division produced orthopedic and dental implants on state of the art multi-axis machining centers and swiss CNC lathes.
Our client has enjoyed increased sales while expanding their south Florida facility. We have placed several valued employees at this division as it continues to grow.
We are searching for candidates with direct experience processing swiss CNC lathes and machining centers. This position will focus on processing components throughout the shop and be responsible for the cost estimating. Working directly with part prints, this Engineer will calculate cost of tooling, machine time, materials and outside services. Experience working with and coordinating outside plating, packaging, grinding and secondary processes is required. The Process Engineer will select equipment, ensure capacity, develop process drawings, routings, spec out materials, estimate machine time and labor. Interested candidates will need direct processing experience on swiss CNC lathes and machining centers producing smaller components. We will consider any brand of swiss lathe experience, however, Citizen Cincom is preferred.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of experience estimating cost and processing components through the shop. Experience on swiss turn lathes and multi-axis CNC machining centers is a must. CNC programming is a plus, but not required.
