NDT Specialist

We are currently seeking an NDT Specialist to develop and support the
Ultrasonic systems and procedures for all ERW pipe-making facilities.
Position could be based at our Tulsa, OK, Houston, TX, Downers Grove, IL
and or Wilder, KY facilities.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

• Audit of existing installations
• Design and setup of new systems
• Responsible for developing and implementing consistent procedures
across all sites
• Assist plant personnel including operators and supervisors in
troubleshooting as well as developing/implementing improvements
• Review of new technologies and conducting trials as needed
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the industry – new NDT techniques and
standards
• Conduct training classes to certify operators to ASNT Level I


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

with level II certification
• Other ASNT inspection methods will also be considered
• Three year technology program is preferred
• Basic understanding of oil and gas well drilling operations
• Basic understanding of welded pipe-making processes
• Emphasis on team work and self-motivation
• Thirty to forty percent travel to various manufacturing facilities is
required

300 thousand tons of seamless pipes and in-house steelmaking capacity of
450 thousand tons of billets per year. In addition to pipe rolling and
