Candidate would be responsible for coordinating NDE initiatives at Subsea plants, working alongside resident plant NDE engineers, technicians and weld engineers. Candidate needs to be able to be put in front of a customer to defend their technique.
Skills:
NDE L3 RT (x-ray) and UT (ultrasonic) candidate with BS degree in engineering (preferred).
Candidate must be able to develop NDE procedures (XT & UT), write inspection and test plans, design and procure calibration blocks, strong understanding of ASME Section V code as well as API 6A and 17D and current on all certifications.
Candidate must has good written and verbal communication skills. Also must be current on all XT/UT technologies, standards and equipment. Candidate will office in Houston, but estimate 30-50% travel.
