Position Summary - The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the overall planning and execution of all quality assurance and control related activities to ensure an effective, efficient and compliant Quality Program in support of Unidyne’s strategic objectives.

Notation - Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance and contractor’s badge.

Work site – This position will be located in the Princess Anne Rd. office in Norfolk, VA.

Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences, Management, or related field with 4 years experience in the management of Quality Assurance Programs in the military, shipyard or ship repair environment is highly preferred, or 7 years experience in the management of Quality Assurance Programs in the military, shipyard or ship repair environment. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 Standard, NAVSEA Standard Items, and Regional Maintenance Center Quality Assurance standards and requirements. Experience in the use of Lean, Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control tools and processes is a plus. Must have experience researching, writing and implementing Quality Assurance policies, programs and operating procedures. A proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Software Suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook). Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with experience in the development of technical documents.
