Job Description:

The NDT Inspector II will be responsible for Field Inspection Services. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Maintain current client list and expand client base
Conduct the inspection of oilfield equipment and tubulars
Work-load permitting
Inspect drilling strings and all components therein
Perform intense manual labor with long work hours
Expected to be on call 24 hours/day
Monitor, as well as train, Level I inspectors and inspector helpers
Use inspection tools, (such as hand grinders, black light, dry powder, yoke, etc.)
Use water blasters and conveyor systems and assist in monitoring supplies that are used, (i.e., thread compound, hard wheels, etc.)
Assist in filing all shop paperwork, specifically inspection reports, and be responsible for training the NDT Level I inspectors and helpers on the proper procedures for filling out paperwork
Responsible for Field Sales related to Inspection Services
Maintain assigned vehicle.

Skills:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
NDT II Certification
EMI & Ultra-sonic Certifications preferred
Experience with Hard Band Applications preferred
Minimum of one year experience in related field
Ability to work in adverse conditions and able to lift at least 50lbs.
Must be willing to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/day
Knowledge of hand power tools, (i.e. grinders)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Good driving record required
Excellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing your work on time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of hand power tools
Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
