NDE Level III & Radiation Safety Officer
Apply principles of QVS Process Management to inspection processes to define ESCO standard work and meet the requirements of ISO 9001.
• NDE Level III to work with each EP manufacturing site, provide oversight of the RT, PT, MT, UT, and VT inspection processes:
• Provide qualification training, testing, and auditing of NDE inspectors
• Ensure adequate technique development for NDE methods and inspection quotes
• Ensure adequate maintenance of the NDE equipment, validation checks, and applicable work instructions
• Be the primary NDE technical resource to the sites and a customer liaison in the area of NDE
• Radiation Safety Officer for Portland facilities:
• Maintain OSBH and NUREG mandated operating and emergency procedures
• Provide radiation safety training
• Perform radiation inspections and audits
• Ensure effectiveness of radiation monitoring equipment and detectors
• Conduct other duties as a member of the Portland Quality Assurance Department
Skills:
QUALIFICIATIONS
• 4 year college degree preferred
• 5 years in the applicable NDE methods
• ASNT Level III certification in the applicable NDE methods preferred
• Experienced in planning and conducting evaluations, surveys and measurements; strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS Office tools; attention to detail
