ANDRITZ HYDRO has an immediate opening for a LEVEL 2 qualified inspector with a minimum of 1 year experience. This individual will represent the company on hydropower refurbishment projects, changing project locations as required.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform examination and testing of materials and components at the vendor, upon receipt, and at installation, in the US and abroad.
• Evaluate indications/defects in components utilizing all types of non-destructive testing and perform analysis of conformity to standards.
• Resolve problems by collaborating with vendors, engineering, project management, and customers.
• Prepare and maintain records and inspection reports.
• Maintain company quality records and prepare quality plans.

Skills:
• Level II certified in PT, MT, UT. VT and/or RT a plus.
• CWI Certification desired.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience since obtaining certification.
• Working knowledge of ASME and AWS Codes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Adept in computer applications, including Microsoft Office software.
• Able to relocate to job site, as required.
