Industry leader who manufactures aircraft components for both commercial and military applications is seeking a Level III RT. Consistently assure that parts are properly processed to the applicable NDT Method specification throughout the casting and NDT inspection process.
Review/interpret codes, standards, specifications, and other contractual documents that control the methodology used to meet industry and customer requirements.
Prepare Radiographic inspection methods (techniques) and establish contingency and containment plans for nonconforming product.
Prepare and implement Penetrant inspection procedures; and establish contingency and containment plans for nonconforming product.
Assure complete systems compliance by obtaining/maintaining NADCAP, AS/ISO, company, and customer-required accreditation.
Perform system quality checks as specified in the applicable NDT Method Specification.
Conduct detailed training, examination, and surveillance of Level I and II personnel. Maintain thorough and accurate departmental records.
Directly interface with customers, independent auditors, and other PCC facilities on all applicable matters.
Monitor and procure departmental equipment and/or consumable items.
Assure assigned personnel practice general safety and HAZCOM protocol.
Maintain and monitor the facility radiation safety program; and assure all equipment, procedures, and protocol meet state and industry safety requirements.

Skills:
Level III - Radiography and Fluorescent Penetrant are preferred. Consideration may be given to current Level II certifications that are eligible to test for Level III. Candidate must have previous NADCAP and ISO audit participation experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not necessary
Current NDT certifications from Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, or Rolls Royce is a plus
