Provides aerospace, power generation, automotive, defense industries with manufacturing and process production solutions.
As a NDE Technology Leader you will lead the NDE business and development of new and existing technology.
The successful candidate must be a team player and have excellent communication and presentation skills. Assist in the growth of advanced NDE by developing and executing a strategy to support clients technical capabilities in the areas of people, knowledge base, intellectual property, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
Mentors and reviews work of other engineers in their technical arena to ensure effective problem resolution.
Influences and directs development of corporate technology strategies. Identifies and evaluates future technical needs and capabilities.
Promotes technical excellence in the larger technical community through publications, presentations & professional committees.
Introduces new technical ideas or technologies that may lead to industrial applications.
Interacts with customer via personal interface identify technology goals/solutions; explores sales opportunities (goal expansion).
Identifies project expansion opportunities in collaboration with other Technology Leaders and external partners.
Demonstrates understanding of key business systems and processes including project management, finance (budget, forecasting, revenue), contracts, leadership and talent management principles.

Skills:
Degree in an Engineering discipline a plus.
Previous work experience or education should include a combination of theoretical and hands-on quality control or specific NDE training.
Applied R&D or industrial experience with direct manufacturing and NDE implementation in a selected industry sector such as energy and heavy manufacturing
Proficiency with advanced UT techniques. ET and RT a plus.
A third party Level III UT or RT certification is desired.
Previous work experience or education should include a combination of theoretical and hands-on quality control or specific NDE training.
