Position summary: Must Be able to set-up and program using Mastercam and operate 5-axis Mill-HAAS. Complete working ability with conventional machines.
General purpose: Produce machined parts by programming, planning and assisting in set-up of computer numerical control (CNC) mill.
Required qualifications:
• Substantial MastercCam programming experience
• Operate 5-axis Haas CNC equipment
• Tool and Die making experience
• Knowledge of Quality Management systems AS9100B
• This is a programming machining position.
Position responsibilities:
• Program mills using MasterCam software by entering necessary information, checking the validity of the program, formulating processes for setting up materials in the mills, communicating the set-up processes to the operators.
• Maintain open dialogue with machine shop floor staff
• Must be familiar with all machine shop processes and procedures
• Must be able to work from engineering Blue prints, customer blueprints and specifications in both metal and composite materials
• Be able to edit and prove out programs
• Diagnose and rectify tooling problems
• Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
• Uses standard operating procedures to modify, store, maintain and transfer programs in order to maintain an inventory of completed proven programs.
• Regular attendance required. Employee may be required to work overtime.

Skills:
• Must have your own tools
• Minimum10- years experience
• Fluency in reading and writing English
• Shop mathematics, complicated and involved drawings, specifications, formulas and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments together with a broad knowledge of applications.
US Citizenship a requirement for this position. Must be able to get security clearance if required.
Wages: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
