Coast to Coast NDE Services is an industry leader in Pipeline Integrity Inspections and Direct Examinations and has openings for self motivated, experienced candidates for Pipeline Integrity Inspectors.

Position: NDE Level II/Pipeline Integrity Inspector
Duties: Inspect, document and report on exposed pipelines for coating and metal loss anomalies. Collect data relating to the corrosion environment within the exposed pipeline area.

Data Collection will consist of:
1. CP measurements
2. pH measurements
3. Soil sampling and resistivity measurements
4. Sub-Meter GPS point collection
5. MIC sampling and testing
6. Mapping of coating holidays
7. Mapping & depth measurement of pipeline metal loss defects
8. RSTRENG/KAPA Calculations
9. Magnetic Particle Testing of exposed pipe & repairs
10. Ultrasonic wall thickness and defect measurement w/ straight beam & shear wave
11. Photo Documentation of site/pipeline assessments and repairs

Experience & Certifications desired:
1. 3 yrs of pipeline related inspection
2. NACE CP II Certification or equivalent
3. NACE CIP II Certification or equivalent
4. NDE Certification – MT II
5. NDE Certification – UT II Restricted or UTII w/Shear wave experience
6. Associates Degree in Corrosion
7. Associates Degree in Nondestructive Examination (NDE)
8. J. Mark Davis UT Flaw Detection & Sizing Course
9. Candidates must have a valid driver’s License, be willing to travel 75% +.

As the inspection documentation process is very computer intensive, candidate must have above average computer skills and understanding.
Additional training and certifications will be provided as needed to fulfill the inspection requirements listed and desired by our clients.
